Information about patients is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling the patient information desk at (727) 893-6101. For the privacy and confidentiality of our patients, we will only provide the room and telephone number if you are a friend or family member and can provide us with the patient’s full name. According to the Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the patient must have signed a consent form for us to release any information.
If a consent form has been signed and you are noted as a person who can receive medical information about the patient, brief updates are available daily on the patient’s medical condition. Bayfront follows American Hospital Association guidelines. Patients are listed in one of four general categories: good, fair, serious or critical. Any further information is confidential.
Make a Direct Call
You can telephone a patient’s room directly. Dial 893-6 (and the room number) for patients who are admitted to bed A. Dial 553-7 (and the room number) for patients who are admitted to bed B.
