Frequently Asked Questions

How can I order with you?

A: It is very easy, being on our web page on the left, go to the Customer login box, there you will find the new customer option, click on it with your mouse, register the patient, place the medicine you want in the shopping cart and send us your prescription by fax or email. We will contact you as soon as we register the prescription in order to process your order.

Do I need a prescription?

A: Yes, just like your local pharmacy, Canadian Pharmacy requires a prescription to purchase your medications. We only accept prescriptions in Spanish or English; These must be less than one year old, have the doctor’s signature and stamp, and the patient’s name. Medications with the icon do not require a prescription.

Do you only sell drugs from Canada or from other countries as well?

A: In addition to distributing Canadian medications, our pharmacy works with distributors in the following countries: Spain, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Turkey, Mexico, India. All medicines are approved by the regulatory bodies of their respective countries.

If my medications are shipped not from Canada, but from other countries, will the medications I receive be Canadian?

No, only medications shipped from Canada will be Canadian. Our distributors in other countries will ship medications from their jurisdiction. Rest assured that your products are purchased from equally reliable sources.

What is the difference between a generic drug and a brand name drug?

The main difference is the cost. Generic and brand name are therapeutically and chemically equivalent. Generic drugs must have the same active ingredient, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as the brand name product.

By law, generics must be differentiated in some way such as color, shape, flavor, inactive ingredients. The difference in prices is due to the fact that the patent of the brand name manufacturers has already expired, giving the option of producing identical generic drugs by other laboratories that compete with the brand name ones.

Are generic drugs safe?

A: Yes. Generics are a copy of the brand name drug. They have the same active ingredient, dosage, quality, strength, intended use, and performance. They deliver the same amount of active ingredients into the patient’s bloodstream in the same amount of time as the brand name drug. They must also have the same therapeutic effect, benefits and risks as their brand-name counterparts, but at a lower cost.

How much does shipping cost?

A: Our shipping cost is a flat rate of $10.00 per order regardless of the quantity of medications you order, as long as the shipment is made to the USA, Canada or Spain. For the rest of Latin America the fee is $30.

My spouse and I will order at the same time. Can we save money if the shipment is made together?

A: Definitely YES, Just mention to the representative (customer service agent) when confirming your order, that you would like your orders to be shipped together, and we will only charge you $10.00 for shipping both.

Can I return medication if I no longer need it?

A: Because we work with licensed pharmacies to protect the safety of you and others, once products (prescription or nonprescription) have been dispensed, returns are not accepted for any reason. Under pharmaceutical law, prescription medications cannot be returned.
