Bayfront is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities to provide a full range of inpatient and outpatient programs for stroke patients.

The hospital’s seventh floor is a dedicated Rehabilitation Center, with a fully handicapped accessible patient care unit and therapy rooms. Patients regain their independence with the help of a team of physiatrists (physicians specializing in physical medicine), physical and occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, psychologists, nurses and recreational therapists.

At the Northeast Outpatient Rehab Center, located at 9700 9^th St. North, St. Petersburg, patients come for therapy daily or several times a week depending on their personal goals for recovery.
