Bayfront participates in the Press Ganey customer service evaluation program, as well as the HCAHPS survey that is administered through Press Ganey. We strive every day to offer each patient, visitor and family member a very good experience in all areas of service. After you are discharged, you may receive a survey asking your opinion about your hospital stay. Randomly selected patients receive one survey that contains both Press Ganey and HCAHPS survey questions. HCAHPS differs from Press Ganey (our private customer service surveyor) in the way patients measure their experience. Press Ganey rates whether aspects of a patient's experience were very good, good, fair, poor or very poor. The HCAHPS measurement scale is different. It evaluates the frequency of the care received, using the measurement scale of always, usually, sometimes and never. Please help us to provide very good healthcare services by returning your survey in the postage-paid envelope.

AHCA data on hospital pricing and performance is available on its Internet website at www.FloridaHealthFinder.gov. Pricing and performance data provided by AHCA is a compilation of charges for the average patient. A patient’s bill may vary from the average shown, depending upon the severity of illness and individual care needs.

Bayfront Medical Center is continuously working to improve patient safety and quality of care. Bayfront supports transparency of hospital data in a way that is useful and valid for the public. The data on the AHCA website has been compiled from coding or billing data, which has limitations when trying to present quality information. Bayfront encourages patients to talk to their physicians about their healthcare decisions.
