Our goal at Bayfront Medical Center is not only to diagnose and treat medical conditions, but to partner with our patients, and their loved ones, through the next steps of treatment and recovery. Support groups help patients and families feel knowledgeable and supported, and help to improve quality of life.
Mended Hearts Support Group
Bayfront hosts a free monthly support group called Mended Hearts for patients and their families. The group is coordinated by the members, and offers education, encouragement and social activities. For dates and locations, call (727) 343-1737 or visit www.mendedhearts.org
Cardiac Defibrillator Support Group
Free meetings are held four times a year in February, April, October, December, on the second Wednesday of the month, from noon-1:30 p.m. in Bayfront’s Sheen Conference Center. For more information, call (727) 893-6424.
