Special Care for Families
The Bayfront Family Health Center (FHC) – located on the campus of Bayfront Medical Center – offers primary healthcare for children and adults. It is also the clinical facility for Bayfront’s graduate medical residency programs.
All patients are cared for by resident physicians and board-certified faculty physicians. The Family Health Center accepts many healthcare insurance plans and a reduced cost plan for patients who qualify. To make an appointment at the Family Health Center, call (727) 893-6116. On-site laboratory services and outpatient rehabilitation services are also available at the Family Health Center, making it convenient for patients and families.
The Family Health Center houses two community outreach programs. The Patient Education Center is open to the public and serves as a mini-health library. It is stocked with the latest books, pamphlets, tapes and computer software programs on health-related topics. Second, Bearly Sick is an award-winning sick child care program for Bayfront team members and local companies who pay for the service.
